Then asked by friends to make their Wedding Dresses and Bridesmaids.
Mainly self taught, but have been on several courses over the years including a City and Guilds Fashion and Design course in Colchester, Not completed as i found it Boring and wasn't giving me the information I wanted.
Why do I do this because I love it.
Give me a picture or draw what you would like, we will get together work it out, i make my own patterns. ill work out how mush fabric you need and send you shopping.
These days we mainly Alter Dresses that have been bought on the internet, manly from China, as they arrive too Small, too big, too long or even too short, all of which can be fixed. But they are so cheap to buy why not, but don't be surprised if it costs you as much to get it to fit, as it did to buy.
I also just shorten, trousers, skirts let things out or take them in, I can even alter Bikinis. We have turned dresses in to skirts made skirts out of tops. Just ask.
I have also made one wedding dress from three wedding dresses bought on eBay, and cut up several wedding dress to make a christening gowns.
As far as pricing goes we shorten Trousers from £10 and Dresses from £12

I'll measure you and start by making a block pattern, the first couple of times you come it won't look much, just a bit of calico that i draw and write on, so don't be disappointed.
